R ESOLUTION A PPROVING F INDINGS OF F ACT FOR A L IGHTING Z ONE M AP A MENDMENT
FOR A C ITY OF P LYMOUTH P ARK L OCATED AT 5250 P EONY L ANE (N ORTHWEST
G REENWAY T RAILHEAD) (2019108)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth, has requested reclassification of the City of Plymouth Lighting
Zone Map from LZ1 (low ambient lighting) to LZ2 (moderate ambient lighting) on the property legally
described as follows:
Outlot A, Elm Creek Highlands, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing and
recommends denial; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted the lighting zone map amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the lighting zone map amendments from LZ1 (low
ambient lighting) to LZ2 (moderate ambient lighting) for property located at 5250 Peony Lane
(Northwest Greenway Trailhead), (as presently legally described above), based on the following findings:
1. The lighting zone map amendment is consistent with the City’s Comprehensive Plan.
2. The lighting zone map amendment is consistent with the purpose and intent of the Ordinance.
APPROVED by the City Council this 28th day of January, 2020.
