R ESOLUTION A PPROVING F INDINGS OF F ACT FOR Z ONING O RDINANCE T EXT
A MENDMENTS TO ALLOW OFFICES OR CLINICS FOR PHYSICAL, COGNITIVE AND BEHAVIORAL
THERAPY LIMITED TO 7,000 SQUARE FEET OR LESS IN THE LIGHT INDUSTRIAL AND
GENERAL INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS (2019083)
WHEREAS, the Avison Young has initiated amendments to uses allowed administratively in light
industrial and general industrial districts; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed text amendments at a duly
called public hearing and recommends approval of the text amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and does approve the zoning ordinance text amendments to allow offices or
clinics for physical, cognitive and behavioral therapy limited to 7,000 square feet or less as a permitted
administrative use in the light industrial and general industrial zoning districts, based upon the finding
that the proposed amendments would be consistent with the city’s comprehensive plan and with the
purpose and intent of the city’s ordinances and policies.
ADOPTED by the City Council the 28th day of January, 2020.
