RESOLUTION NO. 2009-092
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE 2030 PLYMOUTH COMPREHENSIVE PLAN,
INCLUDING THE TIER II COMPREHENSIVE SEWER PLAN
WIffiREAS, the City of Plymouth approved the 2030 Comprehensive Plan, including the Tier II
Comprehensive Sewer Plan on December 11, 2007, contingent upon the required six-month
review by adjacent and affected jurisdictions and the required review and response by the
Metropolitan Council; and
WIffiREAS, the City transmitted the plan to adjacent and affected jurisdictions on December 21,
2007 and March 14, 2008 and informally to the Metropolitan Council on March 12, 2008; and
WIffiREAS, the six-month review period for adjacent and affected jurisdictions concluded on
September 14, 2008; and
WIffiREAS, the City considered the comments of its adjacent and affected jurisdictions and the
informal comments of the Metropolitan Council; and
WIffiREAS, the City made a number of changes to the 2030 Comprehensive Plan, based on the
afore -mentioned comments; and
WIffiREAS, the City transmitted the 2030 Comprehensive Plan, including the Tier II
Comprehensive Sewer Plan, to the Metropolitan Council on September 23, 2008; and
WI-IEREAS, on November 14, 2008, Metropolitan Council staff found the City's plan
incomplete in the area of wastewater flow projections; and
WIffiREAS, following receipt of additional material, Metropolitan Council staff subsequently
found the plan complete on February 19, 2009; and
WIffiREAS, on April 8, 2009, the Metropolitan Council authorized Plymouth to put its 2030
Comprehensive Plan into effect and approved the City's Tier II Comprehensive Sewer Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it should and hereby does approve the 2030
Comprehensive Plan, including the Tier II Comprehensive Sewer Plan.
