RESOLUTION NO. 2009-090
A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AGREEMENT WITH THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES (DNR) FOR
MEDICINE LAKE CURLYLEAF PONDWEED TREATMENT FOR 2009
CITY PROJECT NO. 9118
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has received a grant from the MNDNR in the
amount of $24,788 for herbicide treatment of Curlyleaf Pondweed in Medicine Lake for 2009;
and
WHEREAS, an agreement between the City of Plymouth and the MNDNR for the
Medicine Lake curlyleaf pondweed treatment titled Grant Contract is required and has been
prepared; and
WHEREAS, the agreement allows the City to implement the project and be
reimbursed by the MNDNR under the terms of the agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the Grant Contract is hereby approved,
and the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign the agreement on behalf of the City.
