RESOLUTION NO. 2009-081
A RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH
THE AHIMT (ALL HAZARD INCIDENT MANAGEMENT TEAM)
WHEREAS, The City of Plymouth has the opportunity to enhance our capabilities of
managagement and command of large scale emergency events; and
WHEREAS, The Plymouth Police Department can appoint the stated trained personnel to be a
participant with the AHIMT (All Hazard Incident Management Team); and
WHEREAS, these specially trained personnel will be available for deployment with the
AHIMT within our state or other states within our nation as coordinated through the state EMAC
(Emergency Management Assistance Compact); and
WHEREAS, an appointed command staff person from the Plymouth police or fire department
will have representation on the board of directors for the AHIMT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, enter into a joint powers agreement to establish a regional All Hazards
Incident Management Organization.
