R ESOLUTION N O. 2019-331
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING C ONTRACT WITH G RAEF-USA I NC. (GRAEF)
FOR C ITY C ENTER 2.0
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a goal for 2019 to develop a renewed vision for City Center;
and
WHEREAS, in July 2019, the City Council approved the scope of work to solicit consultants to
complete public engagement, market analysis and create a plan to attract new investment, and explore
options for continued development and redevelopment of City Center; and
WHEREAS, in August 2019, the City received 14 proposals and interviewed five firms; and
WHEREAS, on October 15, 2019, the City Council directed staff to prepare a contract with GRAEF
and Zan Associates for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the contract with Graef-USA Inc. (GRAEF) is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the project total is $164,379. Of that amount, a maximum of
$50,000 will be supplied by Hennepin County Grant funds with a City match of $114,379 (split between
Economic Development and Resource Planning Funds.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 10th day of December, 2019.
