C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2019-063
R ESOLUTION D ECLARING V ACANCY FOR WARD 1 C OUNCIL S EAT
WHEREAS, Judy Johnson was elected to the Ward 1 Council position for a term to expire December
31, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Judy Johnson has submitted her resignation from her Ward 1 council seat effective March
6, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Charter provides that the City Council shall appoint an eligible person
to fill the vacancy until the next regular municipal election when the office is filled for the unexpired term;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that a vacancy exists in the Ward 1 City Council seat effective March 6, 2019.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 12th day of March, 2019.
