Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular meeting of
the Housing arJ Redevelopment Authority of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on

Commissioner Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adopt on:
Housing and Redevelopment Authority Resolution #8
APPROVING A REVISION IN THE SECTION 8 APPLICATION TO PERMIT MORE 1 BEDROOM ELDERLY
UNITS BY DECREASING THE NUMBER OF 2 BEDROOM ELDERLY UNITS
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth finds it
appropriate to increase the number of 1 bedroom rental units and decrease the
number of 2 bedroom rental units for elderly persons as it is anticipated that
elderly households will normally consist of only one or two persons; and
WHEREAS, the HUD local area office has encouraged the Plymouth Housing and
Redevelopment Authority to revise their Section 8 application accordingly;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE PLYPIUUTH HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that it amend its Section 8 application
to reflect the following changes in regards to Subdivision B, Section 8 housing
Assistance payments Program application as follows:
Elderly; Handicapped or Disabled
Units
