The following members were present 4cting-D4gmp Commissioner Bakke introduced the following Resolution and mcied itsadoption : NRA Resolution No. 19 ADOPTION OF A CHANGE I,4 THE CITY'S HOME IMPROVE- MENT GRANT PROGRAM'S GUIDELINES AND ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS. WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth did on May 18, 1977, adopt guidelines and eligibility require- ments for the City's home Improvement Grant Program permitting the use of grant monies for the payment wholly or in part of assessments for public improvements where such improvements are required to make the residence habitable; and WHEREAS, Section 570.202 (4) of the federal Community Development Block Grant Regulations (Tuesday, October 25, 1977 date of issue) prohibit the use of Community Development funds for any payment wholly or in pant of assessments for public improvements; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH HOUSING AI4D REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the City's Home Improvement Grant Program Guidelines be changed to read as follows: Grants funds may not be used for the payment, wholly, or in part, ol, assess- ments for public improvements where such improvements are required to matte the residence habitable."
