HomeMy WebLinkAboutHousing & Redevelopment Authority Resolution 23is HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof,a _ regular meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of February, 19 78. The following members were present: Chairy rman Spaeth, Commissioners A --un, Bakke, Hunt a Rd Neils. The following members were absent: none Conr.ij Ungr ogils introduced the following Resolution and moved itsadoption: HRA RESOLUTION NO. 23 ADOPTING A CHANGE IN THE INCOME LIMITS AIND FUNDING DISBURSEME"T IN THE CITY'S HOME IMPROVEMENT GRANT PROGRAM'S GUIDELINES WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing Rehabilitation Committee has recommended that due consideration be given to adjust the City's Home Improvement Grant Guidelines to more widely distribute grant money benefits by increasing the present income limits, and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority desires to assist those homeowners with the least income first, a priority rating by income is proposed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHuRITY OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, !MINNESOTA that it adopt the following changes to Item C in Section III of the City's Home Improve- ment Grant Guidelines to strike all of Item B so that Item B, as amended, would read as follows: Recipients must have an annual "Adjuster Gross Income" not in excess of $7,500 (as calculated in the Homeowner Application for Grant). However, the following priority rating by income level will be followed: Order of Spendin 1. MHFA Grant Money 1. Under $5,000/year 1. $5,000 2. City Grant Money 2. Between $5,000-6,500/year 2. $5,000 3. City Grant Money 3. Between $6,500-7,500/year 3. $2,000 + $1,000 on a matching dollar - for -dollar basis The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by ragmirmiangr and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in .avor Hereof: Chairman Spaeth, Commissioners Ault, Bakke, t- and Npilq The -following voted Against orabstained: None. , Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
