HomeMy WebLinkAboutHousing & Redevelopment Authority Resolution 28HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rpgular meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Plymouth, Minnesota vias held on the 27th day Of August 19j9_. The following members were present: The following members were absent: introduced the following Resolution and moved is adoption: HRA Resolution No. 28 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 1980 BUDGET OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth the "Authority") has considered the attached budget and finds that this budget is necessary for the operation of the Authority during 'the year 1980; and WHEKEAS, the Authority understands that pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 462.545, Subdivision 6, its budget must be approved before a special tax may be levied; and WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Plymouth, by consent resolution, must approve and authorize the levy for the Authority which would be imposed as a special tax upon all property, both real and personal, within the taxing district of the City of Plymouth; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority for the City of Plymouth that the attached budget of the Authority is hereby approved. BE IT rURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution, together with the attached budget, be submitted to the City Council of the -,`ty of Plymouth to- gether with a consent resolution for adoption by the City Council authorizing the levy of a specila tax, in the amount and for the purpose of Minnesota Statutes, Sections 462.411 through 462.711, upon all property, both real and personal, within said City. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: _ The following voted against orabstained: Whereupon the Rosolu*ion was declared duly passed and—adopted.
