HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
Pursuam': to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Housing and
Redevelopment Authority of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 27th day of

Commiss'oner Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption
HRA Resolution No. 34
REQUESTING DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT (HUD) TO RAISE
FAIR MARKET RENTS FOR THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
WHEREAS, few apartments in the City of Plymouth are under the current
Section 8 fair market rent for Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, present Section 8 apartment renters will be forced to move out
of the City to find suitable housing under current fair market rent.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT
AUTHORITY that the Department of Housing and Urban Development be petitioned
to request an increase in the City of Plymouth's fair market rent to 120 percent
of current area fair market rent fur Hennepin County to facilitate the operation
of Plymouth's existing Secti'on 8 Program.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconder; by
