C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2019-306
R ESOLUTION ESTABLISHING C OMPLETE C OUNT
C OMMITTEE FOR THE 2020 C ENSUS
WHEREAS, a U.S. Census will be taken in 2020; and
WHEREAS, cities have the option of forming Complete Count Committees to assist in
informing residents about the 2020 Census and promoting participation; and
WHERAS, it’s the desire of the City Council to establish a Complete Count
Committee for Plymouth that will foster community preparedness with special focus on
hard to count communities; and
WHEREAS, the committee will work through the conclusion of the 2020 Census
(approximately mid-2020) and will then be disbanded.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the establishment of the Complete Count
Committee is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Complete Count Committee will work within the
existing budget resources of Planning and Communications or will seek approval for any
special project funding.
