HomeMy WebLinkAboutHousing & Redevelopment Authority Minutes 04-25-1977Page 4 MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA April 25, 1977 A regular meeting of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 25th day of March, 1977 at 7:00 p.m. at the City Council Chambers in the City of Plymouth, Minnesota. The following members of the Authority were present: Chairman Hilde, Commissioners Bakke, Neils and Vasiliou. Commissioner Spaeth was absent. There were also present the following members of the City staff: Planner Dillerud, Associate Planner Dale and Secretary Garrity. Chairman Hilde read the call of the meeting. It was moved by Commissioner Neils, seconded by Commissioner Vasiliou, to approve the minutes of the March 28, 1977 regular meeting as submitted. Motion carried, three ayes. Chairman Hilde abstained. The City Clerk administered the Oath of Office to Commissioners Bakke and Vasiliou. S Commissioner Spaeth was placed in nomination for the office of Vice -Chairman. There appearing to bL- no other nominations the Chairman announced that a vote would be in order. A vote being taken, it was found that Commissioner Spaeth had been duly elected to the office of Vice -Chairman of the Authority. Commissioner Neils was placed in nomination for the office of Secretary - Treasurer. There appearing to be no other nominations the Chairman announced that a vote would be in order. A vote being taken, it was found that Commissioner Neils had been duly elected to the office of Secretary -Treasurer. Mr. Dale reviewed the MHFA Emergency Grant Funding Program. There followed a discussion of the guidelines for the program. It was moved by Commissioner Neils, seconded by Commissimier Vasiliou, tc direct staff to establish guidelines for emergency assistance, pursuing first the route of the MHFA Emergency Grant Fund and failing in that establishing criteria whereby the HRA may request an emergency appropriation from the City Council. Motion carried, four ayes. Planner Dillerud responded to questions regarding the Section 8 -program. The meeting was adjc4rned at 7:30 p.m. ice ' ; ,C'C Gerald H. Heils, Secretary 4-
