HomeMy WebLinkAboutHousing & Redevelopment Authority Minutes 02-28-1977Page 2 MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA 0 February 28, 1977 A regular meet`:ng of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 28th day of February, 1977 at 7:30 p.m. at the City Council Chambers in the City of Plymouth, Minnesota. The following members of the Authority were present: Chairman Hilde, Commissioners Bakke, Neils, Spaeth and Vasiliou. None were absent. There were also preesent the following members of the City staff: Manager Willis, Planner Dillerud, Associate Planner Milt Dale and Secretary Garrity. Chairman Hilde read the call of the meeting. It was moved by Commissioner Neils, seconded by Commissioner Spaeth, to approve the minutes of the January 31, 1977 regular meeting as submitted. Motion carried, three ayes. Commissioners Bakke and Vasiliou abstained. Milt --n Dale reviewed a list of proposed objectives for the Rehabilitation Committee. Chairman Hilde suggested an additional objective as follows: to assist people with inadequate incomes to maintain their property so they would be 40 able to live in their homes for a longer period of time. There was a discussion of criteria for the Rehabilitation Committee's recommendations. It was the consensus to set up criteria for the committee and then for the Authority to go along with the Rehabilitation Committee's recommendations. Milton Dale reported on proposed qualifications for the Section 8 program on City -owned scattered building sites. Commissioner Neils asked staff to summarize each project in terms of its objectives, progress and current status. Chairman Hilde asked about the status of the survey on elderly housing. Planner Dillerud replied Barton, Aschman Associates is in the process of working on the survey. Planner Dillerud reported on the Section 8 project. Chairman Hilde requested staff to prepare a list of projects, their status and expected completion dates. The meeting was adjourned at 7:50 p.m. Gera H. --Neils, Secretary 2-
