RESOLUTION NO. 2009-011
APPROVING THE 2008 PAY EQUITY IMPLEMENTATION REPORT
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 471, commonly known as the "Pay Equity
Law," requires that every political subdivision of the State report its actual compensation
plan every fifth year. The City of Plymouth is required to report its plan on or before
January 31, 2008 to the Pay Equity Officer of the Minnesota Department of Management
and Budget; and
WHEREAS, said legislation provides for rile making by the Pay Equity Officer, regarding
the form and substance of said report; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has prepared said report in conformance with the
requirements of the riles and Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 471; and
WHEREAS, said plan must be reviewed and approved by the City Council prior to its
submission of the Pay Equity Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should, and hereby does:
1. Approve the 2008 Pay Equity Implementation Report.
2. Directs the City Manager to proceed with the submission of the report and all of
the requirements of the statute.
