RESOLUTION NO. 2009-006
ORDER PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT
2009 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 9108
WHEREAS, the Capital Improvements Program (CIP) made recommendations for the
2009 Mill and Overlay Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to undertake a Preliminary Engineering Report to determine
the work required on streets within the Nathan Lane, 10th Ave., 13th Ave. Area and the
Nathan/Trenton Lane Area (Located North of Bass Lake Road) recommended to be
considered for the 2009 Mill and Overlay Project; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the Nathan Lane, 10t1' Ave., 13t1' Ave. Area and the
Nathan/Trenton Lane Area (Located North of Bass Lake Road) and to assess the
benefited properties for a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 429;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the proposed improvement be
referred to the City Engineer for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council
with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the
proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether it
should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the
estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
