HomeMy WebLinkAboutHousing & Redevelopment Authority Minutes 01-31-1977Page 1 MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING Or THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESUTA January 31N., 1977 r A regular meeting of t1re Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 22nd day of January, 1977 at 12:10 A.M. at the City Council Chambers in the City of Plymouth, Minnesota. The following members of the l:uthority were present: Chairman Hilde, Commissioners Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. None were absent. There were also present the following members of the City staff: Manager Willis, Planner Dillerud and Secretary Garrity. Chairman Hilde read the call of the meeting. It was moved by Commissioner Spaeth, seconded by Commissioner Neils, to approve the minutes of the December 20, 1976 regular meeting as submitted. Motion carried, four ayes. Chairman Hilde abstained. The Authority reviewed the reports on the Section 8 program and City -owned sc,"ttered building sites. It was moved by Chairman Hilde, seconded by Commnissioner Spaeth, to pursue the proposed scattered building site approach, but return with answers to the following: 1) qualifications for the buyer; 2) restrictions on resale; and 3) Smethods of tying the project in with FHA. Motion carried. five ayes. It was moved by Commissioner Spaeth, seconded by Commissioner Seibold, to approve the filing of application for bonus Community Development Block Grant funds for scattered building sites. Motion carried, five ayes. It was moved by Commissioner Spaeth, seconded by Commissioner Neils, to schedule future HRA meetings at 7:00 P.M. on the fourth Monday of each month. Motion carried, five ayes. It was moved by Commissioner Neils, seconded by Commissioner Spaeth, to establish a three-member advisory committee to the Plymouti; HRA for purposes of dealing with the housing rehabilitation program. Motion carried, five ayes. It was moved by Commissioner Spaeth, seconded by Commissioner Neils, to appoint Ruth Ault, Armand (11ac) McCaughey and Ronald Hillstrom as members of the Rehabilitation Committee.
