R ESOLUTION A PPROVING C HANGE O RDER AND F INAL P AYMENT
FOR THE P ARKERS L AKE P LAYFIELD P ARKING L OT M ILL AND O VERLAY TO CS M C C ROSSAN

WHEREAS, on June 25, 2019, Council awarded the Parkers Lake Playfield parking lot mill and
overlay to CS McCrossan with a bid of $199,651.50; and
WHEREAS, a change order of $63,213.55 was approved for additional asphalt underlayment
to support areas within the parking lot with poor soil conditions; and
WHEREAS, the project also included replacing failing section of curbs, geotechnical borings and
consultant fees totalling $305,629.79; and
WHEREAS, staff and consultant are recommending approval of the change order and final
payment; and
WHEREAS, the Parkers Lake Playfield parking lot mill and overlay was scheduled in the 2019
Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for $700,000 utilizing the Park Replacement Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that payment to CS McCrossan for $262,865.05 utilizing Park Replacement Funds is
approved.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 10th day of September, 2019.
