R ESOLUTION N O. 2019-229
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING F INAL P AYMENT FOR
F IELDHOUSE R EPLACEMENT P ROJECT (FH190001)
WHEREAS, the City, as owner, and Trane US Inc., as contractor, have entered into an agreement
for the Fieldhouse Replacement Project (FH190001), and said agreement was approved on January 24,
2017; and
WHEREAS, final payment to Trane US, Inc. is $55,278, with cumulative payment totaling
$725,550; and
WHEREAS, the project was inclusive of the significant infrastructure components: fabric dome,
LED lighting, revolving door, and HVAC/inflation system ($725,550), site work ($83,000), and
contingency ($66,450); and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost for the project was $875,000, and is financed by the Fieldhouse
fund; and
WHEREAS, the project has remained open for one season to ensure mechanical systems were
successfully delivered, installed, and operational; and
WHEREAS, the overall project cost is $777,912.46, which is $97,087.54 under budget.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that final payment to Trane US, Inc. in the amount of $55,278 for the Fieldhouse
Replacement Project (FH190001) is approved.
