RESOLUTION No. 2013-125
A RESOLUTION TO AWARD CONTRACT FOR
SAGAMORE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 13005
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvements in the Sagamore
Street Reconstruction Project including Revere Lane N from 45t1 Avenue N to 43rd Avenue N,

3Avenue N from Revere Lane N to Trenton Lane N and from Trenton Lane North to the cul-
de-sac west, Trenton Lane N from 45t1' Avenue N to 44t1' Avenue N, and from 44t1' Avenue N to
43rd Avenue N, and 44th Avenue N, from Trenton Lane N to Trenton Lane N for the
reconstruction of streets with the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter
installation, storm sewer installation, and all necessary appurtenances bids were received, opened
and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that GMH Asphalt Corporation of Chaska, MN is the lowest
responsible bidder complying with the minimum specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract for Base Bid + Bid Alternate A with GMH Asphalt Corporation of Chaska, MN
in the name of the City of Plymouth for the improvements in the Sagamore Street
Reconstruction Project including Revere Lane N, from 45th Avenue N to 43rd Avenue N,

3Avenue N from Revere Lane N to Trenton Lane N and from Trenton Lane North to
the cul-de-sac west, Trenton Lane N from 45th Avenue N to 44th Avenue N, and from 44th
Avenue N to 43rd Avenue N, and 44th Avenue N, from Trenton Lane N to Trenton Lane
N according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and
on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $724,152.88.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
