A RESOLUTION RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT, ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING
FOR THE DEERWOOD GLEN Et SWAN LAKE EDGE MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 13004
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the City Council adopted April 23, 2013, a
report has been prepared with reference to the streets south of Schmidt Lake Road, west of
Nathan Lane, east of Zachary Lane, and north of and including 45th Ave., excluding Saratoga
Lane off of Schmidt Lake Road, 49th Ave. off of Saratoga Lane, and Trenton Lane off of 491h
Ave., and including the streets south of Schmidt Lake Road, west of Larch Lane, east of
Northwest Blvd. and north of Rockford Road, excluding Rosewood Lane off of Schmidt Lake
Road, and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the edge mill and overlay of streets,
replacement of concrete curb and gutter, water main, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer repairs,
and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on April 23, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed project is
necessary, cost effective, and feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with
the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property within the
designated Deerwood Glen & Swan Lake Edge Mill and Overlay Project, City
Project No. 13004, for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant
to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as
amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of Error! Reference

2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the I It" day
of June, 2013, in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center at 3400
Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Cleric shall give mailed and
published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
3. The Plymouth Engineering Department is designated as engineer for the
improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of
such improvement.
