C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2019-206
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING EXPENDITURE FOR CITIZEN SURVEY
WHEREAS, the City Council in interested in gathering feedback and opinions from city residents to be
used in future decision making processes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has engaged the National Research Center in Boulder, CO to conduct a
citizen survey in Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, 1,700 randomly selected households will receive a survey in the US Mail in September
2019; and
WHEREAS, the survey will be available to all residents online in October 2019;
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the resource planning citizen survey fund to
accommodate this purchase due to fund balance accumulated for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that an expenditure of up to $17,500 from the resource planning fund to conduct a citizen
survey with the National Research Center is approved.
