R ESOLUTION N O. 2019-205
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING S ALE OF P OLICE K-9
TO P OLICE O FFICER M ATT G LINIANY
WHEREAS, the Police Department retired K-9 Stryker on June 30, 2019; and
WHEREAS, K-9 Stryker has lived with his handler, Police Officer Matt Gliniany, for approximately 10
years; and
WHEREAS, Police Officer Gliniany desires to purchase Stryker from the City for one dollar and in
doing so, would be responsible for his care and expenses.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the sale of K-9 Stryker to Police Officer Matt Gliniany in the amount of one dollar is
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Police Officer Matt Gliniany is responsible for Stryker’s care and
expenses.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 23rd day of July, 2019.
