HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2019-189 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2019-189 R ESOLUTION A PPROVING R EQUEST TO D ENY A CCESS TO K IRKWOOD L ANE N ORTH FOR T IMOTHY AND A NNA W ILCOX F OR P ROPERTY LOCATED AT TH 12200 60 A VENUE N ORTH (2019051) WHEREAS, Timothy and Anna Wilcox have requested that access to Kirkwood Lane North be th denied for their property located at 12200 60 Avenue North legally described as: Lot 3, Block 2, Bass Lake Shorewood Hills, Hennepin County, Minnesota. th WHEREAS, the property is a triple-frontage lot abutting 60 Avenue, Kirkwood Lane and Bass Lake Road; and, WHEREAS, the Bass Lake Shorewood Hills was approved in 1965 and the City has no record if access to Kirkwood Lane was denied; WHEREAS, Kirkwood Lane is a local street and without this action the yard between the home and Kirkwood Lane may not be considered an equivalent rear yard; and, WHEREAS, the City has fence setbacks that are greater if access to Kirkwood Lane is permitted and the applicant would like to construct a five-foot fence up to the right-of-way for Kirkwood Lane; and, WHEREAS, the proposed fence would be located outside the site visibility triangle for Kirkwood Lane and Bass Lake Road. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and does deny private driveway access to Kirkwood Lane North from 12200 th 60 Avenue North.
