R ESOLUTION N O. 2019-187
R ESOLUTION A WARDING B ID FOR THE P ARKERS L AKE P LAYFIELD P ARKING
L OT M ILL AND O VERLAY (PR150002.191) TO CS M C C ROSSAN
WHEREAS, City Council authorized the advertisement of bids through the 2019 Capital
Improvement Program (CIP); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the mill and overlay of Parkers Lake
Playfield parking lot (PR150002.191) bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law on
June 13, 2019, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement; and
COMPANY BID
CS McCrossan $199,651.50
Bituminous Roadways $199,911.00
Allied Blacktop Company $206,960.35
Engineer’s Estimate $216,950.00
WHEREAS, based on bid amounts, staff and consultants recommend accepting the bid and from
CS McCrossan with a bid of $199,651.50; and
WHEREAS, CS McCrossan qualifications and work performance are compliant with the City’s
Responsible Bidder Evaluation Policy; and
WHEREAS, the Parkers Lake Playfield parking lot mill and overlay is scheduled in the 2019
Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for $700,000 utilizing the Park Replacement Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized and directed to enter into contract with CS
McCrossan for the mill and overlay of the Parkers Lake Playfield parking lot (PR150002.191) for
$199,651.50 utilizing the Park Replacement Fund.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 25th day of June, 2019.
