R ESOLUTION N O. 2019-184
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P AYMENT N O. 1 AND F INAL FOR THE B ASS AND P OMERLEAU
L AKES A LUM T REATMENT P ROJECT (WRS19013)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner, and HAB Aquatic Solutions, as the contractor, have
entered into an agreement for the Bass and Pomerleau Lakes Alum Treatment Project (WRS19013) with
said agreement being dated April 28, 2019; and
WHEREAS, the Shingle Creek Watershed Management Commission Engineer has certified
acceptance of the work and approval of the final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that;
1. The original contract amount was $111,362.92 for Alum Treatment of Bass and Pomerleau
Lakes. The value of the work to date is $111,362.92 and is approved.
2. The work performed by the contractor for the Bass and Pomerleau Lakes Alum Treatment
Project and certified to Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is released
from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal
rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment.
3. Payment No. 1 and Final in the amount of $111,362.92 to HAB Aquatic Solutions, for the
Bass and Pomerleau Lakes Alum Treatment Project, is approved and the City’s
Administrative Services Director is authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funding for this project will be from the Water Resources fund
($111,362.92).
APPROVED by the City Council on this 25th day of June, 2019.
