C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2019-120
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING E LECTRONIC T IMEKEEPING P OLICY
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 412.271, Subd. 2C requires cities to adopt policy to ensure electronic
timekeeping and payroll systems are reliable and accurate; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth seeks to utilize technology to improve efficiency, redundancy and
accuracy; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has trained employees how to access schedules, requested time off
and leave balances; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has implemented internal controls to ensure all time is thoroughly
reviewed and appropriate approvals obtained before processing payment to employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that Electronic Timekeeping Procedures are approved.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 23rd day of April, 2019.
