R ESOLUTION N O. 2019-056
R ESOLUTION A CCEPTING M ATCHING G RANT FROM THE
M INNESOTA D EPARTMENT OF P UBLIC S AFETY FOR THE P URCHASE
OF E QUIPMENT TO LAUNDER T URNOUT G EAR
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Fire Department applied for and received a $4,107 grant from
the Minnesota Department of Public Safety; and
WHEREAS, the department needs to purchase a turnout gear dryer for Fire Station 2 at
an anticipated project cost of $8,500; and
WHEREAS, the grant award will reimburse the City of Plymouth for project costs up to
$4,107 to purchase a new turn out gear dryer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the $4,107 matching grant from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety is
approved.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 12th day of March, 2019.
