i VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH
pi Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village
;'Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of
6November, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen
!JHunt. Neils, Spaeth, and Seibold. The following members were absent: None.
Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its
on:
RESOLUTION NO. 724467
WHEREAS, pursuant to the advertisement for bids for East Medicine Lake
Street Surfacing Project No. 123-001, bids were received, opened and tabu-
lated as follows:
CONTRACTOR BID BOND TOTAL BID
Engineer's Estimate $45,000.00
'Alexander Construction Co. 5% $41,204.00
Hardrives, Inc. 5% $43,470.00
C. S. McCrossan, Inc. 5% $44,822.00
Bury and Carlson 5% $54,318.00
WHEREAS, it appears that Alexander Construction Company is the lowest
Possible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
'1PLYMOUTH,

1) The Mayor and Village Manager are authorized to enter into a contract-
with Alexander Construction Company in the name of the Village of
Plymouth for the East Medicine Lake Street Surfacing Project
No 123-001 in the amount of $41,204.00, all according to the plans
j' and specifications therefore approved by the Village Council on
�i file in the office of the Village Engineer;
li 2) The Village Engineer is authorized and directed to return the bid
bond security to all bidders forthwith. Security of the successful
bidder (and the next lowest bidder) shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.

i The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
riby Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in

lifavor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Hunt, Seibold, and Neils. The

ollowing voted against: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
11'passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the
Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared
'the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of the Village

f?file in my office and the same is a full, true, and complete transcript
therefrom.
