Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village
'yCouncil of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of
!INovember, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen
.Spaeth, Seibold, Hunt, and Neils. The following members were absent: None

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 72-458
WHEREAS, the Village has had two occasions within the last year when
ureas have been without water, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has ordered preparation of a Report
,on Standby Power, and
WHEREAS, Ericksen Ellison and Associates, Inc. Consulting Engineers
have submitted a report on Standby Power for Plymouth, Minnesota 1972,
,dated November 1, 1972.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
PLYMOUTH,
1), The Report on Standby Power. for Plymouth, Minnesota 1972,
dated November 1, 1972 and prepared by Ericksen Ellison and
Associates, is accepted and approved, and the staff is
directed to periodically review the economics of using the
various power supplies;
2) The staff is directed to proceed with the plans for the
V for Well 03 using electric drive.
3) We 1 #4 plans, when ordered, are to be prepared using a
natural gas engine driven unit;
4) The staff is directed to forward a copy of the Report on
Standby Power to the Metropolitan Sewer Board and request
that the Sewer Board take action to pro,eide the standby
power for the main lift station serving the Village of
Plymouth.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded I
Councilman Spaeth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
n favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Seibold, Hunt, and Neils.
following voted against: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
ipassed and adopted.
