HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-454N VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village iCouncil of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day of ,November, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen ;Spaeth, Hunt, Seibold, and Neils. The following membe';-s were absent: None. Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-454 A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE REQUIREMENT OF SECTION 462.358 !i SUBDIVISION 4, MINNESOTA STATUTES AND SECTION 9.02 OF CHAPTER VII OF THE VILLAGE CODE RELATIVE TO CONVEYANCES it BY METES AND BOUNDS OF PARCELS OF LAND CONTAINING LESS THAN FIVE ACRES (! � WHEREAS, Wallace A. Turner, who owns land in the South 1/2 of Section X115, has requested a subdivision variance, and 'I WHEREAS, the Village Planning Commission has reviewed said request Mand recommends approval, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has now determined that the subdivision lof said land into two parcels, both of which would contain less than five (5) jacres. would not interfere with the purposes of the Subdivision Regulations lof the Village of Plymouth and that a refusal to permit such subdivision. !would create an unnecessary hardship on such owner, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE IOF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1) Compliance with the provisions of Section 462.358 Subdivision 4, Minnesota Statutes and Section 9.02 of Chapter VII of the Village Code relating to conveyances by metes and bound of parcels of land containing an area of less than five (5) acres is hereby waived with respect to the following described parcels: I PARCEL A The South 120.0 feet of the North 563.0 feet of I the West 200.0 feet of the Southwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin County. i Minnesota, except the West 33.0 feet thereof. It PARCEL B i, The South 120.0 feet of the North 563.0 feet of the East 363.0 feet of the Southwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 118, Range 22, Hennepin �+ County. Minnesota. lying East of the West 200.0 I( feet thereof. ji 2) The Village Clerk is directed to prepare a certified copy of this Resolution for recording pu,-oses. i! ir►,trr t Int# ira* 4t The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted Ain favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Hunt, Seibold, and Neils. ;The following voted against: None.
