HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-296I VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH 3z Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting ,,of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was 11held on the 21st day of August, 1972. The following members were .jpresent: Mayor Hi'lde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. hhe following members were absent: None. Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and ;moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-296 !! WHEREAS, John Gullickson has requested Site Plan approval for 81 new 11apartments in three structures to be located on his South Shore Drive site (under the provisions of the Plymouth Village Zoning Ordinance, and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Village Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed development, and WHEREAS, the Village Council believes that the developer should be ( permitted to continue with his development under the provisions of the Zoning j Ordinance in effect prior to July 27, 1972 with respect to density calculations`, 33 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that the Site Plan marked Exhibit A-237 for 81 new apart- ments in three structures on the site located to the Northwest of the inter- section of South Shore Drive and 10th Avenue North be and is hereby approved subject to the following conditions being met before a Building Permit is issued: { 1. That 17 feet of additional right-of-way along the West side of South Shore Drive be quit claim deeded to the Village of Plymouth (17' X ! 159.97' and 17' X approximately 1251); 2. That a -park donation of $7,000 be paid to the Village Treasurer in i{ lieu of dedicating any park land; it 3. That a landscaping bond in the amount of $10,000 be submitted to insure that the landscaping plan submitted by the developer is adhered to; } i 4. That the staff vertify that the total parcel including the lot area of the original 17 unit building is in fact a single legal parcel. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was i i i1duly seconded by Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken there- flon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Hunt, Seibold '(and Neils. The following voted against: None. The following ?abstained: Mayor Hilde and Councilman Spaeth. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
