HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-283AEXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA f1 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of ,the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was "!held on the 6th day of October, 1972, commencing at 7:12 o'clock !f i p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Public Works Building, 14900 Twenty-third Avenue North, Plymouth. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. i,,The following members were absent: None. r jCouncilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and t ,,moved its adoption: ' RESOLUTION NO. 72-283 (A) A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AND CERTIFYING WEED E ERADICATION AND DESTRUCTION CHARGES WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Section 18.271, M.S.A., the Weed Inspector of the Village of Plymouth has caused the destruction and eradica- tion of noxious weeds on certain lands within said Village, and WHEREAS, the affected property owners were served with the proper notices and verified and itemized statements of the cost of all services rendered in connection with such destruction and eradication have properly been submitted and filed all as provided by law, and WHEREAS, pursuant to due and proper notice according to law an assess- ment hearing was held on the 5th day of October, 1972, commencing at 8:40 o'clock p.m. relating to the weed eradication and destruction charges. and WH'REAS, attached here*n is a statement of such expenses against the lands in question, which expenses are to be entered as a tax upon such land, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: '_.. That such statement of expenses of eradicat:vn and destruction of noxious weeds against Each of the lands set out in such statement is hereby confirmed and certified to be true and correct. 2. That the Village Finance Director is directed to deliver a copy of such stat—ient together with a certified cc)y of this Resolution to the Auditor of HennepinCounty, Minnesora, as provided by law. The Motion for the adoption or the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken lthereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmer Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils.
