Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting
;of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was

',held on the 5th day of October, 1972, commencing at 7:35 o'clock

;ip.m. in the Council Chambers of the rublic Works Building, 14900
;!Twenty-third Avenue North, Plymouth. The following members were

1present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold and Neils. The
members were absent: Councilman Spaeth.
Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and
ved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 72-280 (A)
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING AND ADOPTING
THE ASSESSMENT FOR
1972 STREET LIGHTING PROJECTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to due and proper notice according to law, an assess-
ment hearing was held on the 5th day of October, 1972, commencing at 9:55
o'clock p.m., relating to street lighting costs for the following described
areas:
Fox Meadows Area
Seven Ponds Addition
Gleanloch 2nd Addition
Plymouth Manor 1st Addition
Plymouth Manor 2nd Addition
Registered Land Survey 132
Section 23, T.1189 R.22, Parcels 1010, 3000 & 5400
Section 26. T.118, R.22, Parcels 730, 3300, 4325, 4900,
5000, 5100, 5200, 5300, 5400,
5500, 5600 & 5700
Section 27, T.118, R.22, Parcels 1420 & 1430
Creekwood Heights 1st Addition
Elmhurst Addition
Elmhurst Gardens Addition
Elmhurst Heights Addition
Elmhurst Lakeview Addition'
Penwalk Addition: Lots l through 8, Block 2 and Lots 1
through 10, Block 1, and
WHEREAS, a1T persons present desiring to be heard were heard and their
objections, if any, were noted,
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED=BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Village Clerk has, with the assistance of the Village Finance
Director heretofore selected by this Council for such purpose,
calculated the proper amounts to be specially assessed 1972 street
lighting projects"against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of
land, in accordance with the provisions of law, and has prepared
and filed in her 'office tabulated statements in duplicate showing
the proper description of each and every lot, piece or parcel of
land to be specially assessed in the amount calculated against the
same.
2. Notice ..zs been duly published as required by law that this Council
would meet in sptc°a-1 session at this time and place to Pass on
j the proposed assessment.
3. The proposed assessment has at all times since its filing been open
to inspection and copying by all persons interested, and an oppor-
tunity has been given to all interested person: to present their
objections, if any, to such proposed assessm<_•nt or to any item there-
of, and no objections have been filed.
4. This Council finds that each of the lots, pieces or parcels of land
enumerated in said proposed assessment was and is specially benefit-
ed by the construction of such street lighting in the amount in said
proposed assessment set opposite the description of each such lot,
piece or parcel of land and that said amount is hereby levied and
assessed.
I; 5. Such proposed assessment is affirmed, adopted and confirmed, and the
sums fixed and named in said proposed assessment with the changes
and alterations hereinabove made are affirmed, adopted and confirmed
as the proper special assessment for each of said lots, pieces or
parcels of land respectively.

;4 6. Said assessment so affirmed, adopted and confirmed shalt 6e certi-
fied to by the Village Clerk and filed in her office and shall
I; thereupon be and constitute the special assessment for 1972 street
ii lighting projects.
it 7. The amounts assessed against each lot, piece or parcel of land iY,all
bear interest from the date hereof until the same have been paid at
the rate of zero percent per annum.
8. Such assessment shall be payable in one installment payable on the

first day of January, 1972.
9. The Village Clerk is hereby directed to make up and file in the
office of the County Auditor of Hennepin County a certified state'
ment of the amount of all of such unpaid assessments and the amount
!� which will be due there on the first 'w of January, 1973.
The Motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken there-
ion, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen'
(Hunt, ,eibold and Neils. The following voted against or abstained:
None Whereupon the Resolution was declared dily passed and
adopted.
