HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-278AVILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village ;:Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of (;October, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen ;Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-278 (A) WHEREAS, Shell Oil Company has requested a Conditional Use Permit to con- struct a car wash in a B-3 Service Business District Zone under the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Plymouth, and 1 { WHEREAS, the Village Planning Commission has reviewed said request, f NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that the request of Shell Oil Company for a Conditional Use Permit to install car washing equipment and alter the structure located at the North west corner of County Road 154 and State Highway 55 be denied because it would' be a further encroachment on a residential district and would be detrimental to the health and comfort of the persons residing in the area adjacent to the station. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded I by Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in Ifavor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilemn Huht, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The Following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was de clared duly passed and adopted.
