HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-26514W VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH i Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 24th day of July, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following members were absent: Councilman Hunt. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-265 WHEREAS, a Subdivision Variance has been requested by Lawrence J. LaLiberte, the owner of the property in the South half of Section 23 of the Village of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has now determined that the subdivision of said land into two parcels, both of which would contain less than five (5) acres, would not interfere with the purposes of the Subdivision Regulations of the Village of Plymouth and that a refusal to permit such subdivision would create an un- necessary hardship on such owner, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. Compliance with the provisions of Section 462.358, Sub- division 4, Minnesota statutes and Section 9.02 of Chapter VII of the Village Code relating to conveyances by metes and bounds of parcels of land containing an area of less than five (5) acres is hereby waived with respect to the following described parcels: TRACT A That part of Government Lots 7 and 8, Section 23, Township 118, Range 22, being Lots 9 to 27 including adjoining vacated streets, Bolduc's Medicine Lake Park (now vacated), lying West of the East 596.5 feet and lying East of a line parallel with and 795.3 feet West of the East line of said Lot 9, except street. TRACT B That part of Government Lots 7 and 8, Section 23, Township 118, Range 22, being Lots 9 to 27 including adjoinin vacated streets, in Bolduc's Medicine Lake Park (now vacated , lying West of a line parallel with and 795.3 feet West of the East line of said Lot 9. 2. The Village Clerk is directed to prepare a certified copy of this Resolution for recording purposes. i The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was i duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Seibold and Neils.
