HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-264AVILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 25th day of I September, 1972. The following members were present: 'Mayor Hilde, Councilmen i Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following members were absent: None. i �* ,rt* ileir+r Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-264 (A) A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE MANAGER TO ENTER AN ORDER WITH RESPECT TO A HAZARDOUS AND DANGEROUS BUILDING AT 2445 WEST MEDICINE LAKE DRIVE WHEREAS, the Building Official of the Village of Plymouth has made a !written report to the Council relative to the condition of the structure at 2445 West Medicine Lake Drive, which structure is deemed by said Building ,Official to be in a dangerous and hazardous condition, and WHEREAS, in said report said Building Official has recommended that pro- jceedings be commenced for the correction, razing or removal of said structure ipursuant to applicable statutes of the State of Minnesota, and WHEREAS, said report has been examined and considered by the Village {Council, I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE iVILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH As follows: 1. That the Mayor and Village Manager of the Village of Plymouth are authorized and directed to enter an Order directed:: to the owner of the premises at 2440'Mest Medicine Lake Drive and to all lien holders of record, which Order shall direct owner and lien holders to _orrect, raze or remove the building thereon. 2. The Village Attorney is authorized and directed to cause said Order to be served upon the owners of record of said building, or their agents, upon any occupants therein and to proceed with the enforce- ment of said Order all as provided in Sections 463.15 through 463.26, Minnesota Statutes - The motion for the adopti6n of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
