HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-262EFEE •.F J t i t VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 17th day of July. 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen,Hunt, Spaeth and Neils. The following members were absent: Councilman Seibold. Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIjN NO. 72-262 WHEREAS, pursuant t: an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Vicksburg Lane street Project No. 107, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: 1. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Alexander Construction Company in the name of the Village of Plymouth for Vicksburg Lane street Project No. 107 (formerly Project No. 201), according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the Village Councl.1 and on file in the office of the Village Engineer. 2. The' -'illage Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return the bid bond security to all bidders forth- with. The security of the successful bidder (and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the,_adoption.of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted ,in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth and Neils. The following voted against: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. McCrossan, Inc. 5% Bid Bond 177,596.00 WHEREAS, it appears that Alexander Construction Company is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL` OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Alexander Construction Company in the name of the Village of Plymouth for Vicksburg Lane street Project No. 107 (formerly Project No. 201), according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the Village Councl.1 and on file in the office of the Village Engineer. 2.
