HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-253A`-A VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH i' Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village .i 1i'Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of ,,September, 1972. The following members were dresent: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen !!Hunt, Spaeth and Neils. The following members were absent: Councilman Seibold. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its 'adoption: it RESOLUTION NO. 72-253 (A) A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF HEAR- ING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR 1972 STREET LIGHTING PROJECTS AND 1972 WEED DESTRUCTION BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH follows: 1. 2 3. A proposed assessment roll for 1972 Street Lighting Projects and 1972 Weed Destruction, prepared by the Village Clerk with the assistance of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc., is hereby received and ordered to be placed on file in the office of the Village Clerk, where it shall be and remain open to public inspection. The Village Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of a hearing an such proposed assessments in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the time specified for such hearing. The Clerk shall also mail a copy of such notice to the owner of each par- cel of land described in the assessment roll, with such mailed notice to be given no less than two weeks prior to the date of hearing on such proposed assessment roll. Such notice shall state the date, time and place of such hearing, the general nature of the improvement, the area proposed to be assessed, that the proposed assessment roll is on file with the Clerk, and that written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be con- sidered. 4. The Village Council shall meet at the time and place specified in such notice to pass upon such proposed assessment. 5. The public hearing for these proposed special assessment rolls shall be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Public Works Garage, 14900 Twenty -Third Avenue North, Plymouth, Minnesota, on October 5, 1972. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded �Iby Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted I! ;Mn favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth and Neils.
