HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-250AVILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH !1 #7 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village �5 ?!Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of 'i jSeptember, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen ,;Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Spaeth introdi,ced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-250 (A) WHEREAS, the Developer, Super Valu Stores, Inc.. has received site plan approval for their development on the West side of State Highway 101, North of County Road N6, baseO-on a condition that they provide acceleration and de- celeration lanes. and WHEREAS, decisions have not been made concerning the extent of the pro- ject for improvement of the County Road f6 and State Highway 0101 intersection, and WHEREAS, Super Valu Stores. Inc. has requested a building permit and sub- mitted a petition for the improvement of the street and a waiver of hearing. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH -that the Council hereby accepts and approves the attached petition and waiver as submitted by Super Valu Stores, Inc. in lieu of physical construction of acceleration and deceleration lanes subject to the acceptance by the Village Attorney of a letter from Super Valu Stores, Inc. statJng they will pay the assessments for the acceleration and deceleration lanes and Identifying them as the only benefit party. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Hunt. Seibold and Neils. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA jCOUNTY OF HENNEPIN SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH I. the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth. Minnesota. hereby certify that I have carefully compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a special meeting of the Village Council of said Village held September 11. 1972 with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom.
