HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-241AVILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village ;;Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of 'September, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen ';Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following members were absent: None. i Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-241 (A) A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL AND DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR WATER AND SANITARY SEWER PROJECTS #129, #132 AND #825 BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH follows: 1. A proposed assessment roll for Water and Sanitary Sewer Projects #129, 4 0132 and #825. prepared by the Village Clerk with the assistance of I! Bonestroo, Rosene. Anderlik & Associates. Inc., is hereby received and � ordered to be placed on file in the office of the Village Clerk where it shall be and remain open to public inspection. '! 2. The Village Clerk shall publish notice of the time and place of a hearing on such proposed assessments in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the time specified for such hearing. The Clerk shall also mail a copy of such notice to the owner of each par- cel of land described in the assessment roll, with such mailed notice to be given no less than two weeks prior to the date of h,aring on !j such proposed assessment roll. j 3. Such notice shall state the date. time and place of such hearing, the general nature of the improvement. the area proposed to be assessed, i{ that the proposed assessment roll is on file with the Clerk, and that ;i written or oral objections hereto by any property owner will be con- sidered. 4. The Village Council shall meet at the time and place specified in such notice to pass upon such proposed assessment. 5. The public hearing for these proposed special assessment rolls shall be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Wayzata Senior High School. 305 Vicksburg Lane, Plymouth, Minnesota, on October 4. 1972. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded Eby Councilman Seibold. and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. Th ;following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon said Resolution was de- clared duly passed and adopted. i
