R ESOLUTION N O. 2018-366
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING F INAL P AYMENT FOR
E AST M EDICINE L AKE P ARK P LAYGROUND (PR189003.001)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth, as owner, and Ultimate Playgrounds, Inc., the contractor, have
entered into an agreement for the East Medicine Lake Park Playground Project (PR189003.001), and said
agreement was approved by the City Council on March 27, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the East Medicine Lake Playground Project includes the Ultimate Playgrounds, Inc.
contract for the playground, delivery, installation and safety surfacing in the playground container; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has submitted a request for final payment in the amount of
$13,919.90 for a cumulative payment of $154,821.30; and
WHEREAS, the purchase and installation of the playground is scheduled in the Capital
Improvement Program for 2018, utilizing Park Replacement Funds; and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed and accepted the work on this project.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the final payment for the East Medicine Lake Playground to Ultimate Playgrounds, Inc.
in the amount of $13,919.90, for a cumulative payment of $154,821.30, is hereby approved.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 11th day of December, 2018.
