Plymouth on Parade set for Sept. 21
Plymouth, Minn. – The 22nd annual Plymouth on Parade is set for Saturday, Sept. 21 – and this year’s
free event features a new format, with activities throughout the parade route.
Family Activities – 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Family-friendly activities are set for 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. along the parade route at 34th Avenue and
Plymouth Boulevard, as well as 36th Avenue and Plymouth Boulevard. Activities include face painting,
glitter tattoos, balloon animals, crazy hair, henna tattoos and an interactive spin zone.
Food trucks and stands will offer concessions available for purchase – attendees are encouraged to bring
cash.
Parade – 10:30 a.m.
The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. and runs along Plymouth Boulevard from 34th to 37th avenues.
A variety of units will participate in the parade, including Armstrong and Wayzata high school marching
bands, Saint Paul Bouncing Team, Kracker Jacks Drumline, Twin Cities Metro Pipe Band and Zuhrah
Shrine Antique Cars.
Residents are encouraged to post parade photos on social media with #PlymouthonParade for a chance
to be shared by the City of Plymouth, @PlymouthMN_gov.
All activities and entertainment, aside from food trucks, are free and open to the public. Plymouth on
Parade is co-sponsored by the City of Plymouth, TCF Bank, Hy-Vee, Kyle Vitense State Farm Agency and
CCX Media.
Cutline: Plymouth on Parade is set for Saturday, Sept. 21. Family activities and events will be held along
the parade route on Plymouth Boulevard, beginning at 9:30 a.m. The parade begins at 10:30 a.m.
